We are Mark & Ginny, and we are retired, part-time cruisers with three grown children. We met 36 years ago when we were both actively racing and married a year later. Ginny started sailing & racing at twenty and loved the foredeck position. Mark got interested in sailing while on a day charter when he was twenty-three and purchased his first boat, a Cal 20, shortly thereafter. Next we owned an S2 7.9, a Santana 35, a Martin 242, and now a Catalina 470. We also enjoy fishing, camping, travelling and for Ginny, gardening. While at home we love being with family and friends and hanging out with sailors at the Portland Yacht Club.
